"Hey there! Remember, not everything thoughts say is true—sometimes they can lead you astray! Stay curious and challenge those thoughts!"

Roseanne Dougan
"I am a fully qualified CBT Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapy (BABCP). I adhere to their code of ethics and standards for continued development and supervision. I have been studying and working with mental health for over 10 years. I started my academic journey studying a certificate of Higher Education in Social Science and then went on to gain my BSc(Hons) Psychology and Counselling. To further develop my counselling skills I did the COSCA Counselling skills course and then went on to do a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT Psychotherapy. I have worked with various local Charities and as a self-employed psychotherapist in the private sector, where I have gained experience in working with anxiety, depression, perinatal care, grief, attachment issues, stress management, disordered eating, addictions, veteran mental health, phobias, complex family dynamics, childhood and adult trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). I am trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and have undertaken further training to become a trauma informed therapist and have started my journey training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindfulness. My aim is to use my knowledge, skills and experience to work together with you, to investigate what is troubling you, and to get to the bottom of it in order to support you moving forward. No judgements. Just acceptance and compassion in a confidential space. "

"I am a CBT therapist who offers an open, safe, confidential, empathic, and accepting environment for you to explore and reflect on issues that are causing concern in your life. It is normal to have times of challenge, change and uncertainty and choosing a therapist can feel daunting. I hope to relieve that pressure and help you develop your own self-awareness, increase your ability to cope and take control of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or past trauma counselling can offer you the opportunity to be heard without judgment or prejudice giving you the chance to develop a more positive mental health outlook and adopt better lifestyle choices."

Charles Bennett
"I’m a trained Cognitive Behavioural Practitioner (MBACP) with over a decade of experience in the Social Care and Community sectors. When I work with clients, I draw on both my counselling training and my natural qualities of compassion and insight to support individuals in exploring the underlying causes that may be holding them back from personal growth. I believe that when this therapeutic relationship is met with a client’s courage and willingness to engage, we can work together to develop the tools and life skills that empower meaningful, lasting change. I also bring personal experience of navigating and sustaining better mental health. While everyone’s path is unique, I’ve found that my understanding of the challenges involved—and the conditions that support transformation—offers a valuable perspective in my work. In therapy, I don’t lead or follow—I walk alongside my clients in honest, patient collaboration. I’m often described as a reassuring, approachable, and committed therapist, and I’ve had the privilege of supporting many people in reaching their goals and living fuller lives."
